Let’s say, these are the most common OBD2 devices, with the most basic functions, like reading and clearing errors, nothing more, powered by the car.

I have only used it once this evening on mama’s 2014 prius, nothing wrong with it, i just wanted to see what this thing can do… well i’m impressed!! i’m a seasoned mechanic with 38years experience and just needed to grab something that will show me monitors and a code or two… fast was the key! this little scan tool is as cheap as they come i’ll not lie it’s not a tough shop tool however! the keys are crisp and precise the menu is bright and easy to read in the sun and dark.. it’s super fast! if i remember correctly there were two buttons to push to read codes same for the monitors it does have mode 6 but very limited info and mode 8 also just the basics it does have live data and i’ll have to play more to know how fast the refresh rate is but it’s ok to look at… you won’t catch a glitching sensor or anything but you’ll see if one is not plausible, open, shorted etc…. super cool cheap tool!!!!

Ok.

Seems to have limited connection ability — maybe biased towards usa cars? Definitely won’t connect to our ev (instructions say it won’t), and seems to have limited function with our 2013 suzuki swift.

It comes in a cardboard box without instructions, a bit shabby. Need to test it.
