Can’t go wrong for the price. Even works hooked up to an ipad or iphone with the included dongle. I do wish it was mounted more securely but what can you get out of a cheap microscope? It’s fantastic for soldering

Overall a nice toy and satisfied. I was hoping to use it for micro electronic repair but it is nearly impossible for this task. Problem is the focus adjustment is mannual and it goes out of focus easily. Automatic focus would be much better. Second issue is the microscope lens has to be adjusted to a tight spot and very challenging to make up the exact spot. It works yet with annoying stuggles.

Works great under linux! The listed magnification range is a little misleading as the adjuster is for focus, not zoom, but it comes with a calibration card that i assume is accurate. Overall handy for inspecting soldering jobs and other tiny things.

Received the product within two weeks of placing the order, the packaging box that came in was crushed. I was worried that there might be some damage to the product that was inside however, everything was fine aside from a few minor scratches. One thing i want to point out to anybody that’s interested in purchasing this particular model of a microscope the zoom that’s claimed is 1600. It is actually a digital zoom making anything that’s being magnified quite pixelated. The color profile is mediocre at best you can dis distinguish majority of the colors, basically you get what you pay for saving a buck but for what it is it’s a good cheap item if you’re strapped for cash, one other thing i want to know there’s a very little space between the microscope and the item you’re trying to magnify if you’re trying to slaughter, you have a very limited room to do so. The software to run, the microscope is really easy to use, i wish it had a few more features, perhaps a better color profiles,

I connected it with a 3rd party open source app bc the app they send with it is sketchy in my opinion i found an alternative on google play store that dies no tracking and it works great
