Much easier to install than some other makes as it comes with 4 different pulleys/gears for different types of roller blind chains and incorporates a mounting bracket to allow unit to slide loose to fit chain or off completely to be charged..
Only moan is the confusing term of ‘all off’ used in the app when ‘close’ would suffice to describe position of blind.
Unexpected function to automatically close the blind when a set temperature is reached! Not sure if it has a built-in temperature sensor or using local weather report.

You have to provide adapters yourself, which I don’t find a problem at all. That’s reflected in the price. I’ve included both in Home Assistant. During automation, I noticed that when closing simultaneously at sunset, one of the curtains didn’t close. After I added a time difference in the control, it worked as desired. It’s a shame that one of the remote controls doesn’t work. But everything works via Home Assistant and the Tuya app.

It arrived very quickly and in order. Installation also without problems. I calibrated manually using this procedure: The blinds MUST be closed!! On the motor, press the up and down buttons simultaneously, the blue LED will start flashing. Then press either the up button (right rotation) or down button (left rotation) and when the blinds are up, press the stop button. And it’s done. It’s good that the wheel and chain are not loose and there is rolling resistance between them. This prevents the motor from “stalling.” Good luck!!

Very cool thing. Everything works intuitively, even without instructions. . Although it looks more complicated, it’s actually easy to connect and instantly connects to the Smart Life app. You connect the WiFi transmitter to the power supply and it connects to the program. In the program, there is a learning stage to set the level to which the curtain should be raised or lowered. The set includes a remote control. You can control the program with your voice on your phone and with the remote control. Made with quality. I even have a heavy curtain, it works without problems. I recommend. Good price for such a product. It runs on a battery.

The response is good and the movement feels stable. It’s also nice that it’s rechargeable. The Wi-Fi gateway has good sensitivity and even when placed inside a wooden TV stand, it responded. Our roller blinds are special ones, so it would be great if they moved without needing to remember the upper and lower limits.

It works well. With long curtains, you need to modify the chain so it can move continuously, which means removing the chain clip and so on. tie and additionally use glue. The mechanism operates quietly; sometimes the remote control ‘doesn’t catch,’ but it’s rare. In the software, it would be useful to have an option for calibrating the lifting time based on the weight of the roller shutter because when the motor lowers the shutter, it becomes lighter and the shutter speed is faster than when the shutter is up, which leads to system calibration issues – in my case, it lowers further and further by approx. 2mm after each full cycle. But the joy of using it is there anyway! 🙂

Works wonderfully, easy to install with screws or adhesive. I’m only going to have to buy some clips to attach the string of bowls and tighten it. It was long pasta. The application works perfectly through the gateway that came in the box. Open and close the windows both by percentage and by time. Fully programmable. Too bad I need an external gateway to connect to Wi-Fi and Smartlife, and it’s clear to Alexa.

No more pulling and pulling on a chain to open my roman blinds!
Arrived quickly. I chose to replace the too-long chain on my roman blinds, rather than cut and splice. This was due to the tight chain opening on the blind pulley.
Installing the unit was straightforward. I followed the instructions on the smart life app to train the motor to know when it is opened and closed. I did it wrong the first time, due to not reading the instructions carefully. (start with the blind fully closed.) It was easy to reset it in the app and try again. The tuya interface in home assistant allowed me to set up automations to open the blind when i wake up and close it at bedtime.

It connects very easily with the Tuya Smart app. Intuitive control – motors learn the position of the blinds. It was a bit difficult to set up, I didn’t look at the manual, everything was intuitive. It works perfectly on Alex. Anyone who says it doesn’t work on the wire is mistaken because I installed 2 and had no problems. Just make sure the wire is well stretched (I didn’t know how to install it or the wire is too thin). There’s an adapter for that, only the receiver of the remote is the USB part that bothers me, but I believe it’s because of the temperature. Very good product and seller. Very good cost-benefit ratio, I recommend it. Great, let’s see if it lasts.

I now have 3 x of theses controlling 3 x blinds in our bedroom works great with google assitant voice commands. Set to open in the morning basically like an alarm clock. The blinds go up the room gets bright we wake up. And in the early evening they go down automatically ready for privacy and a good night’s sleep.

This unit is great but difficult to get working with alexa. I first set up the up/down limits using blinds motor buttons (its a combo of up/stop or up/down to reset limits then you use the up and down buttons to get it set. The rf controller worked fine out of the box. The real problem was the wifi dongle and alexa. First adding the wifi dongle to the smartlife app was simple enough. I ignored app calibrating at this point because i did it already. However the app would not control the blinds. I figured out that the wifi dongle and blinds motor had to be synced (as well as dongle and app). This was done by using power button on blinds motor and reset on dongle. Once this was done i could control blinds with app. I added 3 scenes to smart life app (open blinds, close blinds and stop blinds) which were automatically picked up by alexa. Now i can use alexa to open, close stop blinds. So while difficult to setup, once setup it works great. The pic shows the large blind it can control.

I didn’t expect that this small motor could move the large curtain that is 2.40 meters wide, but it turned out to be powerful, thank God, especially since it’s on a rechargeable battery. Note that only one unit when the piece that attaches the curtain chain to the motor reaches it, the movement often slows down. Therefore, the solution is to install a long chain from furniture stores.
