The dock is light bit robust. Hooked up to a nintendo switch oled, it needs both hdmi and the usb-c port plugged in to transfer the screen.

I got this to play my switch lite with a wired controller while charging as it only has one usb port but this is great and i’d highly recommend getting one if you have a switch lite. Hdmi only works with the regular switch and switch 2 so i can’t comment on that.
