Everything works perfectly: connected via Thunderbolt 4 cables, the laptop and PC, PD, and everything else on the laptop works (including the monitor in my docking station via HDMI), peripherals from the docking station are also switched to the computer (except for the monitor, which is directly connected to the graphics card via DisplayPort).

It is compact and easy to connect, however I’m not sure if it’s my unit, but sometimes it works very well and other times it simply doesn’t connect. I wanted it to act as a hub between a desktop PC and a laptop. The build quality is acceptable, but it fails on several occasions.

Honestly a great purchase. I got this so i can share one monitor between two laptops and it works very well. The quality is great for the price, i recommend this item. You will need to make sure that you have good quality usb-c cables that can support video transfer between your devices and the monitor. Also make sure that you have enough power for it to work. At first it did not turn on, but plugging into the wall instead of my computer fixed the issue. Then it was not displaying anything, but when i switched to a better cable, it worked perfectly. The output is good quality and it has been very convenient.

The conversion works well. One thing that’s disappointing is that an auxiliary power source is a must.

I wanted to plus a usb c monitor to 2 computers and switch between them.
First of all, the device need a power supply beyond the monitor usbc. Ok, sure.
But since the monitor is a usb hub, like most monitors, it is not detected working. Besides, it doesn’t transfer the power so it doesn’t charge the computer when plugged.
It defeats the purpose.

Works well for switching between a docking station (monitor, keyboard, and mouse) and two laptops.
Important: power the PCs with their own power supply or you will need a very powerful power source. It is also important that the USB-C cables used are of good quality to be able to transmit 4K.
I give it 4 stars because it’s a bit slow when changing.
