Almost perfect
This spring makes sure the door gets to almost close position. But just won’t latch the door unless it’s slammedIt does come with an adjustment bar however it’s a little to short to get the right leverage enough to close the door fullyThis product would be perfect for a light inside door but not powerful enough for a heavy outside door unless they start sending the adjustment bar the same size as the door closer bar, then you could actually get enough leverage out of the bar so it will fully close the door

Inexpensive, unobtrusive and works!
I was reluctant to try this door closer because it looks too good to be true: small, unobtrusive footprint and inexpensive. It’s easy to install and works just as described. The spring is indeed a bit noisy but doesn’t really bother me. This is for a basement entry door. If it were for a bedroom or other more frequented space, I’d consider something else.

Cool product but …
It is a cool product but makes squeaky noise after a couple of days. Manufacturer should ensure that there is enough grease inside to ensure that it does not make a noise after installation

It’s ok.
I’ve been using this door closer for about 2 weeks. So far so good. I hear a lot of complaints in the reviews section about it being noisy. I have occasionally heard some spring noises but it seldom and not very loud at all. The product allows tension adjustment by placing the metal rod into different slots on the device. I found the lowest/weakest tension adjustment was sufficient to close my bathroom door. My only complaint about this door closer is that is has no speed control. Meaning, that the door will keep accelerator until it slams on shut. So, the wider that the door is open , the faster the door will move. So, if you open the door full way, then that gives more time for door to accelerator causing the door to slam shut. But normally, I just open the door half way, and by doing do the door closer will close the door gently.

Not bad for the price, but not great for outside doors with weather stripping
It’s a nice little unit, well constructed and easy to install. I put it on the back door with the idea it would fully close it allowing the auto lock to engage. It DOES work and closes the door, but not quite far enough against the weather stripping, even with the spring cranked to the max. Basically the arm really needs to be a bit longer or the spring a bit stronger to work against the weather stripping and the air pressure resistance it creates. For doors without weather stripping, I’m sure it would work wonderfully.

It Works Great! With A Little Elbow Grease
Lets get to the point, I installed it and worked great for about a day or so. After that the spring was just making a ton of grinding noise. Just loud and annoying. So I unscrewed the top and took the whole thing apart and added a ton of Bearing Grease inside on both springs top and bottom and just like that no more noise. Sure its a pain since I shouldn’t have to do that but at least its quite now. I would still recommend this product.

Good Closer, Easy to install
easy to install door closed, looks good, works well.one item that could improve is if they could add a few more rod position holes, it was one hole slammed the door, the next one wouldn’t always close completely on the door latch, so I had to use shims to get it to where it would reliably close but not slam the door.
