Love these for my interior doors
This is my second purchase of this door closer. Put on on our laundry room door for when the washer or dryer is too loud. Added a second one to the computer room door for later night loud audio. I’m an auto mechanic so these type of devices are normally easy to install. You better have some mechanical aptitude before tackling. The instructions are poor but there are some YouTube videos around that will help. Over all, love this door closer and might purchase another one or two. They work great!

Please read the directions will be easy
I had my dad helping me to put this on in my rental condo because there was a new requirement from the fire department that we had to attach soft closure to all of the apartment doors . My dad decided that he can do it on his own, but it was getting very complicated to try the event. The instructions when they were already made. Anyway, I made him fallow the directions and after that, it got very easy and we were done for no time. It’s a very good device and perfect price. It did fit the purpose the many different cultures in the are much more expensive. This one was perfect and you adjust how fast the door can close, and how strong.

Works on outside of door opening!
Got it to work but only on outside of door opening into garage as opposed to in the house. Hopeful not affected by cold in garage. Replaced previous door closer on the inside of door with this model. Looks good, works well, but only for outer side of door.

Template is wrong. Need to use actual product to mark holes. Quality of the product is good.
