I was actually surprised at the quality of the parts, and the extruder was assembled already which I appreciated. One bit of advice when putting this together, the U-Bolts that hold the build plate on, they cause a pressure point on the bearings and make them grind so I designed and modeled some cradles instead – they allow the bearings to move very very smoothly.
I did have a problem with the extruder gear being of poor quality which I was surprised about, I had to grind down parts of the outer edges on the teeth, they would catch and stop the extruder motor. I suggest checking this carefully when you build the printer or you will have to take the extruder apart later.

This kit arrived quickly and came with plenty of spare fasteners. I am pleased with the overall quality of the components except for the hotend. It is not high temp compatible so you will need to upgrade that if you want to print above 245C. I chose a Phaetus Dragon – there is a nice mount on Thingiverse for this. Online documentation is excellent and build was straightforward. Hardest part was printing all the parts. Would I buy again? Yes, if Prusa lead times were really long or if I wanted a custom color for all the printed parts. Or if I planned on doing significant upgrades with custom firmware. It’s a fun project and a good warmup for building a Voron. For the total cost with upgraded hotend, it’s similar to buying a genuine Prusa.

I already have the original MK3S+ and was very curius on how the clone would look, feel like and how it would perform.
Pros:
– included full metal heatbreak (looks like titan) and the heatbreak for the ptfe tube
– very good instructions for the build
– all necessary parts included
Cons:
– the heatbed bracket was slightly warped and I sad to buy silicone stands
– heatblock looks and feels very cheap
– original satin sheet is not automaticaly recognized
– the LCD can’t be dimmed
Would I buy it again? Sure, if you use it as a hobbyist, for occasional printing and you want to expirience the Prusa feeling.
For my print farm I would not buy it again and rather go for the assembeled original. It just goes and goes and goes.

Its hard to tell the difference between this one to the original! The seller is very nice and sent me a new board without charge because the first had problems.
